10 Times WWE DISRESPECTED DECEASED Wrestlers! – Sasha Banks DISSED Natalya’s Dad & More!

[Music] [Applause] go to hell Matty pro wrestling is not a work environment which can be mimicked the athletes work day in and day out putting their bodies at risk this is why companies like WWE form very close bonds with many they hire the company expects the talent to stick around through troubles and keep performing at an elite level isn’t it fair to say the least WWE does is remember them fondly after their passing the company has a horrible history of discarding the legacies of their top competitors after their deaths sometimes even using their life as fodder for their active stories this is wrestling happened today we were talking about 10 deceased wrestlers that debby to be disrespected we start the list with one of the more recent cases of blatant disrespect towards a deceased wrestler while Reed fire wasn’t an established name he didn’t deserve the treatment his death got for the sole reason about tragic it was repast away from an accidental drug overdose at 25 he had made appearances on the early iteration of NXT after it switched to a developmental brand he is also the son of the legendary Ric Flair and brother of Charlotte players death caused a chain reaction which ended up with a WWE 2k unveiling party going wrong due to a drunken Ric Flair this caused him Ross to be fired from the company however it truly got controversial during a historic main event segment a contract signing between Charlotte and Paige on the 16th of November edition of Raw in 2015 paid said to Charlotte you’re a little baby brother he didn’t have much fight in him did he this act of cheap Pete was condemned by fans all over and ended up winning that year’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter ‘s most disgusting promotional tactics award you know you’re wrong sweetheart he’s your baby brother [Applause] [Music] Paul Bearer was a part of WWE for 32 years and his time of the company could have only been severed by his untimely passing he passed away in March of 2013 at the age of 58 due to a heart attack the man that had been one of the greatest managers in pro wrestling history managed to give his characters like The Undertaker and Kane making himself a revered figure bear may have given his life to wrestling but no one could have possibly been okay with what happened on Raw after his passing while the news of his death was still fresh CM Punk’s started using it to further torment the Undertaker his rival heading into WrestleMania 29 while many have said this was simply to get Heat it did go a little too far punk and Heyman News Bears death repeatedly even pouring his ashes out on Raw while Baer being inducted in the Hall of Fame was a great gesture this act cannot be washed away [Applause] Brian Pillman was a brief yet memorable character he had been one of the pioneers I mean North American high-flying style which drew influences from Mexico and Japan while he played a role in developing the style he also had on screen success in appearing with Steve Austin his segment with Austin invading his house is a cult classic and many people credited with starting the Attitude Era Pillman was only 35 at the time of his passing from heart disease what he had achieved in his years of wrestling was disregarded by WWE the night after the company intervened the grieving wife of Pillman Melanie on television for everyone to see she wasn’t in any condition to deal with the ramifications of her husband death on live TV making this awkward but more so distasteful what WWE did with Eddie Guerrero’s death is one of the cheapest things the company has done and he was an icon with his work across Japan Mexico and the u.s. being considered some of the best his body of work has inspired many including Sasha banks one person Eddie inspired and even wrestled was Rey Mysterio Guerrero’s untimely death due to heart disease shook wrestling and promoted a tribute episode however it was undone with the company pushing Rey Mysterio as a way to capitalize on his death Mysterio won the Royal Rumble and saw himself feeding with Randy Orton and Randy’s constant jobs including Eddie’s inhale right now were completely out of line something even his widow Vickie has said and he’s down there landscape wasn’t the biggest star foe was a serviceable tag team wrestler Kate was also pegged for big things due to his body and charisma Kate never got a chance after his death due to heart failure in 2010 at the age of 29 Kane’s immediate death did not result in controversy but investigations did the wife of WWE chairman Vince McMahon Linda was preparing herself for a Senate run her involvement with Debbie debuting became a sore spot for her chances including one time where she was asked about Kate as an example of wrestlers dying young Linda denied to have known Kate a comment which would enrage Kate’s father he claimed that Linda knew his son by name and Ann interacted with him at WWE functions test was once engaged to Stephanie and had feuds with members of the McMahon family when they over in programming he was an upper mid Carter but never broke out into a top star test passed away due to an accidental overdose of oxycodone at the age of 33 in 2009 he had been 2 years removed from his departure from WWE tests have been a notable part of the program in the early 2000s even getting the most eliminations at the 2000 Rumble not to mention he had won the European and intercontinental titles on top of multiple reigns’s Tag Team Champion considering the resume he left with the short time the company would at least remember him and death right nope his death was not even acknowledged by the company Umaga could have been the biggest heel in WWE had his rise not coincided with John Cena’s in the year 2007 while he did wrestle in the early 2000 system all one half of the 3-minute warning he found his greatest success as imago the character paid homage to his samoan heritage as Umaga was a member of the prestigious and hawaii family whose current representatives in the WWE are Roman reigns and the u.s. owes whom Agha died of a heart attack due to drug abuse in 2009 considering the success that Eddie fought to the man behind him ahead enjoyed in the WWE over his two characters you would expect the company to acknowledge the man and his efforts right the answer once again is nope despite being a former IC champion challenger of the WWE title and a member of the ANA ye family WWE ignored Umaga’s death possibly because the bad press that could have gotten the WWE as his passing came up at the same time as Linda McMahon’s Senate run we have the third man to suffer from Debbi w his lack of acknowledgement despite years of tireless service viscera also being known as Mabel and Big Daddy be and to be doubly was a long-term employee before his release in 2008 he had had multiple runs under different names and has been a part of the program for about 25 years he died of heart disease at the age of 43 the man known as Nelson Frazier jr. may have played multiple parts across his stance on WWE programming but he also didn’t enjoy a featured spot be it as a sex hungry giant beast or a monster that cannot be stopped he gave his heart out for the company even if he did have problems managing his weight outside WWE showed blatant disrespect to the 1994 king of the ring after neglecting to even mention his death on pay-per-view he passed away a few days out from the 2014 Elimination Chamber event but only a two-line message on Dibby Dibby calm was what was given viswas Widow claims that the company never reached out to offer their condolences and she would later unsuccessfully sued WWE claiming that CT from wrestling is what caused his death toots Mondt is one of the iconic figures of wrestling that no one has heard about and that is a sign of disrespect to such a man toots may have been inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame’s legacy wing at 2017 but his role in the creation of what we know as WWE today is unaccounted the WWWF alongside Jess McMahon the man that came up with the infamous Buddy Rogers won a tournament in Rio to become the first-ever WWE champion this man that essentially controlled the company has been left as a footnote in history and it started with this fall out with Vince McMahon’s senior he would eventually be forced out of the company due to gambling issues and would die in 1976 it said the choice to book Bruno Sammartino as the top guy was tutte’s decision his lack of reference is one of the greatest signs of disrespect to someone that helped fill modern-day WWE Jack Tunney was the cafe president of WWE all turrets Golden Age in the 80s he presided over the economy between Hulk Hogan and Andre and later Hogan’s rivalries with Randy Savage in the Ultimate Warrior he is the reason why Andre never got to reign as champion but he is also the victim of shocking disrespect upon his passing by WWE he served as WWF’s on-screen president for 11 years and generated a lot of fan interest in his character but issues backstage would cause him to be fired and written out of WWE’s history books Tony’s death in 2004 was mourned by fans that grew up knowing him as the WWF president but not a single member from the company was at his funeral nor was his death announced on wwe.com and these were 10 deceased wrestlers that WWE disrespected I hope you’re all having a great day thank you so much for watching and I will see you later in the next video [Music]
