Why The Fiend vs Seth Rollins Ending Could Be PERFECT – WWE Theory

hey guys welcome to wrestling days and welcome to this urn planned video I’m gonna try to do the impossible I’m gonna try and give you hope that there is a way of saving the Hell in a Cell finish now what I would say is that that does seem impossible right now but I do genuinely believe there is a way of doing it I don’t know if WWE are gonna do what I’m about to suggest I would urge that they do because I think it explains everything I think it could turn one of the worst finishes in recent memory to a wrestling show into one of the best and I know that seems impossible but I have thought this through and I really think this could work okay so we’re gonna talk about that in a second there’s another thing that we need to talk about and that is the official result I can tell you that if you go to the Wikipedia page for Hell in a Cell it lists the official result not as a DQ but as a no contest okay now a lot of anger online seems to be because the match was called as a DQ I don’t know that it was I haven’t heard the official outcome I know that WWE on Fox they’re the Twitter account they’re said that it was a DQ but apparently that post has since been deleted so I don’t know that it was a DQ I really don’t want it to be a DQ you can’t have disqualifications inside Hell in a Cell it would make no sense if people are angry about that I would understand it I would agree with it but I don’t think that’s the result on Wikipedia which again I know can be updated by anyone it’s listed as a no contest and I’m actually being told by quite a few people they’re starting to hear that’s what WWE are saying that it was a no contest I’ve got a better outcome than no contest ref stoppage so what I want to do is just to explain what our no contest is and explain what a ref stoppages so that you can understand that these would actually work now imagine if we were in the middle of the match and the arena had to be evacuated let’s say there was a fire okay and the arena had to be evacuated that would be a no contest like you are not able to finish the match because everyone has to get out of the arena so as a result that would be a no contest as a result that would be allowed during a Hell in a Cell match it would have to be allowed there’s no choice right you can’t no one’s winning no one’s losing it’s got to be a no contest okay very unusual but it is an outcome that they can do during Hell in a Cell not just for like evacuations you know there’s a lot of people saying this was a no contest because the referee waved it off that doesn’t fit though because there’s another outcome which is ref stoppage now this is quite rare but I feel it should be used more right referees have the ability they don’t do it but they do have the ability to stop a match okay if someone was to get legitimately hurt really hurt and the match couldn’t continue they could call it a no contest or they could call it a rest stop egde a ref stoppage is when one of the competitors can no longer continue down in NXT I remember Kevin Owens versus Sami Zayn think it was the first time they met and Kevin Owens powerbombed Sami Zayn and went for the pin didn’t get the three he lost his mind at that point right so what he did was he kept powerbomb in Sami Zayn kept hitting him repeatedly with the powerbomb and the referee basically stepped in and went he’s done I’m gonna speak for Sami Zayn he is not responsive he’s not defending himself the match is over Kevin Owens wins bye ref stoppage that was the actual result of that match right and that would fit here the fiend was not responsive he was not defending himself we can’t just sit back and watch Seth Rollins smash in the fiend with a toolbox a chair a ladder a sledgehammer God knows how many curb stomps right we can’t sit back and just keep watching that if Seth’s not gonna go for a pin if he’s not gonna go for a submission if he’s just gonna keep hitting the fiend with different things at some point the referee has got to step in and say we’re done and call the match the referee is allowed to do that it’s called a ref stoppage a referee stoppage now I’m under the impression that’s what he did I’m under the impression that the sledgehammer was the breaking point it was at that point when Seth uses the sledgehammer hits the fiend with the sledgehammer and the fiend doesn’t defend it doesn’t stop it isn’t responsive it’s at that point the ref goes I’ve sinned enough and calls the match right so WWE did a terrible job of explaining how this show finished people think it’s a DQ it can’t be right it really can’t be so I need WWE to come out and say this was e there are no contests which I don’t really like or a ref stoppage which fits a lot better okay if they come out on Raw tomorrow and say this was a ref stoppage I can buy that I can buy I don’t like it but I can buy it okay now there is a way of making this one of the greatest finishes ever okay I know you still don’t believe me but I’m hoping you will in a couple of minutes time there’s a moment where seth has got the sledgehammer okay and he might as well have a demon here and an angel here because you can see that he is debating with himself he is fighting with himself he does not know who to listen to does he listen to the devil does he listen to the angel his lie he doesn’t know and the refs even saying don’t do it don’t do it you don’t have to go that far and Seth has got a choice this isn’t about winning a match anymore if you’re gonna use a sledgehammer it’s not an object that gets used that often so if you’re gonna use a sledgehammer you are basically trying to put your opponent down for good yeah you’re not trying to win a match you’re trying to put them down for good so he’s got the sledgehammer and he’s got a choice to make he uses it now they can make this one of the best wrestling finishes in recent memory quite easily because in that moment here is my question in that moment did Seth Rowland’s let him in what does that mean what does let him in actually mean it means that you accept your darkness it means that you accept that you are gonna go to places that you would not normally go it means that you get consumed in that moment Seth was consumed his darkness consumed him we basically saw Seth’s fiend the way that you saved this the fiend doesn’t care about the universal championship doesn’t care about titles right this was a test the fiend was playing possum he was down Seth was being tested we know that the fiend was playing possum because as soon as the match is called he pops up and gets a mandible claw and sister Abigail and ends the whole show stand-in tall so what if he wasn’t interested in winning the match he was interested in testing Seth he wanted to know if Seth would let that darkness consume him in that moment Seth had a choice and he chose to let him in he uses the sledgehammer he goes to a place that he didn’t want to go to didn’t think he could go to but he went there and the only way they can save this now is if Seth is now one of the fiends followers Seth is now a firefly seth has let him in that’s the only way you save this because we we’ve seen this happen before Daniel Bryan was a follower of Bray Wyatt you might remember Daniel Bryan put on those overalls and was listening and submitting to Bray Wyatt he would actually drop down to his knees and throw his arms out and he was a follower he had basically been brainwashed by Bray Wyatt and it was quite a good story Nye and it was brilliant when he finally broke free I remember him being on top of that cage and the whole yes Chan and all of this it was amazing it was such a great moment when he broke free from the spell that was Bray Wyatt well for me this needs to be that again we need Seth Rollins to have let him in we need Seth Rollins now to on Raw submit to the fiend to let the fiend in fiend doesn’t care about Championships he could have a much bigger prize and that is Seth Rollins let me know your thoughts guys down in the comments below what do you think of that idea do you think that would save the ending it’s gonna be many people that still won’t be on board but I do think that would go some way as to explain in why the fiend was motionless I think it would explain as to why Seth had such a dilemma you know and all you know it ties in with the whole let him in thing as well so giving it some thought and I like it I like it I think it can save it but I don’t think they do it I really don’t think they do it but let me know your thoughts down in the comments below awesome guys thanks a lot for watching and hopefully I see you later for the raw livestream bye for now [Music]
